About the Role
This position is responsible for working with the Electrical Engineering Service & Systems group to provide on-site engineering and technical assistance in areas of electrical equipment maintenance, new equipment commissioning, custom electrical equipment modification, wiring, controls, drives and breakers. Assist Field Service personnel in a wide variety of electrical work Assist in creating detailed and quality reports to customers covering the scope of work performed Follow required safety practices Manage paperwork and office procedures, as required Perform all work at a high level of quality Be willing and available to work evenings and weekends, as required by our customers. Travel may be required Perform other duties, as required Must have completed, or is currently enrolled in a Co-Op Program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology This position does not offer relocation Valid driver's license required Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls and/or power distribution products Good organizational and time management skills Strong analytic skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics Mechanical aptitude Good attitude and work ethic
