About the Role
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Actively participate in Kaizen events and CI workshops to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency. Develop and update standard work documentation and visual management tools. Deploy Lean methodologies such as 5S, value stream mapping, and TPM to drive sustainable improvements. Support Industry 4.0 initiatives, including IoT integration, predictive maintenance, and digital dashboard development. Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven reports and presentations to communicate project progress and outcomes to leadership. Required: Actively enrolled in an accredited university as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field). Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA (please don't round). Must be able to work a minimum of 20 - 25 hours per week. Experience or coursework in Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts (IoT, smart sensors, data analytics, automation). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
