Description of the department
The Central Services Team in Real Assets provides key support to the European investment business of AXA IM - Real Assets in technical areas such as key supplier management, tax, accounting, insurance, corporate legal, cash management and systems maintenance.

This role, which requires excellent communication and organisation skills, and the ability to interact effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders, will assist in the management and oversight of key suppliers.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the oversight and management of key external suppliers (mainly Property Valuers, Property Managers, Auditors) 
    • Assist with the preparation and processing of contracts and change orders, dealing with key supplier contacts in several countries
    • Assist in the reconciliation of fees billed to the contracts databases, and where necessary fee analysis
    • Collation and processing of feedback from the AXA IM - Real Assets business to inform Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurement. 
  • Prepare KPI summaries for meetings with the Property Valuers
    • Updating central databases to capture key details of external engagements, informing the Data Management team as necessary
    • Creating and updating process and SLA information 
    • Preparing agendas, presentations, and taking minutes from key supplier meetings
  • Support the Fund and asset Performance process 
    • Assist in extracting relevant data from core systems to populate the asset and fund performance templates
    • Assist in processing data required by the external benchmarking suppliers
    • Assist in tracking the delivery of data by internal teams where the data required is not held in core systems 
    • Assist in preparing analysis of the data  
  • Assist with other tasks and projects as required in support of the Central Services Team


Education Skills & Experience
Education

  • Studying finance, maths, economics, business on a 4-year University degree with 3rd year work placement included

Skills

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a team within an international and fast-moving environment

  • Creative thinking, capability to develop innovative solutions and challenge consensus

Experience

Technical Skills

  • Good Microsoft skills (excel, word and PowerPoint)
