This program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts and gain practical experience in a fast-paced agency setting. As an intern, you will gain exposure to real projects, account management and client interaction, and explore various aspects of healthcare marketing and communication.</p> <p>Our internships offer a&nbsp;<strong>hybrid </strong>schedule, reporting to our <strong>Washington</strong> DC office two (2) days per week and working remotely 3 days per week. &nbsp;This program will run from June 2 – August 12, 2026.</p> <h2>The Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Content Creation:</strong> Collaborate with account teams to support day-to-day activities, including developing media lists, drafting press releases and fact sheets, and creating social media content.</li> <li><strong>Project Coordination:</strong> Support cross-functional workstreams (PR, digital, analytics, creative, policy) and help track timelines and approvals</li> <li><strong>Research and Analytics: </strong></li> <ul> <li>Conduct research and assist in the development of campaign concepts.</li> <li>Capture metrics and support post-campaign evaluations.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Collaboration: </strong></li> <ul> <li>Participate in intern projects, working with fellow interns</li> <li>Engage with senior leadership in meetings and discussions to learn about career journeys and industry insights.</li> <li>Work&nbsp;collaboratively with members of all departments</li> </ul> </ul> <h2>About You</h2> <p><strong>Our ideal candidate must have</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Current graduate student or rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in liberal arts, public health, public policy, communications, , marketing, or a related field.</li> <li>Strong interest in health communications or marketing with a desire to learn about agency work.</li> <li>Strong writers and editors with AP style familiarity; adept at translating science/health topics into plain language.</li> <li>Comfort with research and data (media monitoring, social analytics, basic dashboards).</li> <li>Have an understanding of the latest social media platforms</li> <li>Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering clear and precise work are critical</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to take initiative</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> <li>Proactive attitude with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li> <li>Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Process (Due January 30, 2026)</strong></p> <ul> <li>JPA Health will be accepting applications until January 30, 2026.</li> <li>Qualified applicants will be contacted by a member of the Talent Team for interviews.</li> </ul> <h2>What Makes Us Different</h2> <p>JPA Health offers you the opportunity to work with purpose as you achieve extraordinary results for our clients.
