ABOUT FRISCO BOWL The Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl is an annual college bowl game played in Frisco, Texas at Toyota Stadium. The bowl game is owned and operated by ESPN Events, a division of ESPN, and is affiliated with all Group of Five conferences. The Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl will air live on ESPN December 17, 2024 from Toyota Stadium. Toyota Stadium is the home of the MLS team FC Dallas and host to the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Championship since 2010. It has a capacity of 17,200. MISSION The Frisco Bowl’s mission is to deliver the highest quality post season college football experience for our student-athletes, teams, fans, attendees, and stakeholders, while showcasing the positive sports-centric climate of the community.
About the Role

 

NTSC Sports Performance Intern – 2026 Season

 

NTSC is seeking a qualified individual to assist in the sports performance program for the upcoming season. The Sports Performance Intern will work closely with the NTSC Sports Performance Staff to ensure a smooth and successful NTSC season. Therefore, having a thorough knowledge of the game and aspirations in sports science, athletic performance, or related fields will be an asset in this position. The Sports Performance Intern must be available for all home games, along with any additional events assigned throughout the season. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Pre Training:
    • Communicate with physical performance staff regarding daily field setup.
    • Coordinate GPS units for all players, setting up live antenna on the field.
  • During Training:
    • Track live antenna during the session and communicate with performance staff.
    • Assist performance staff on field as needed.
  • Post Training:
    • Organize all equipment
    • Download GPS, export data and communicate to performance staff.
    • Create daily training report and update daily training log.
    • Ensure all GPS units are fully charged, operational, and prepared for next session.
    • Connect with staff regarding end of day recap and next day planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 You are/have:

  • A friendly, upbeat student wanting to work within the sports industry.
  • Hard-working, dedicated, and passionate about soccer.
  • Able to take initiative and maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment.
  • Deadline-driven and can work under pressure while juggling multiple reports simultaneously.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

 

 Qualifications:

  • Must be an active college student.
  • Excellent interpersonal plus verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Knowledge about the sport of Soccer is preferred.
