About the Opportunity: We’re looking for an Engineering Intern to support various projects and tasks which further the development and implementation of continuous improvement in all areas of the facility.

Location: Stuart, FL 

Responsibilities:  

  • Assist with the implementation of the Super clean process into internal operations.
  • Design and build a tank for Carbon Seal cleaning applications.
  • Construct fixture shelves and enclosures to support workflow within the production line.
  • Set up a Pack & Ship station, ensuring proper layout, workflow, and safety considerations.
  • Implement point-of-use (POU) final inspection tools to support quality control requirements.
  • Design and build a mechanism for quick opening/closing of disc filter housing to improve operator efficiency.
  • Develop cleanliness and cleaning procedures for the Super clean room, ensuring compliance with aerospace cleanliness standards.
  • Support documentation, testing, and validation activities as new processes and tools are introduced.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Safety, and Operations.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations. 

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • CAD or NX skills is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with requirements for aerospace component manufacturing that includes having knowledge of aerospace fabrications, machining, laser technology, welding, coatings, and heat treatment is also preferred, but not required.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, resourcefulness, and adaptability.                                 

Working Conditions:  

  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. 
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
