Job Description

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a committed working student in Strategic Sourcing to support our team immediately for 20 hours per week. You will gain insights into the exciting world of Strategic Sourcing at Sportradar and support daily business through data analytics, offer reviews, operational tasks & communication. If you have a passion for procurement and organization and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment, you are exactly right with us!

THE CHALLENGE

  • You turn procurement data into clear evaluations — pulling together sourcing/procurement KPIs so the team can make confident decisions.

  • You spot process improvement opportunities and help make them real — not just ideas, but practical changes that actually stick.

  • You keep day-to-day procurement running smoothly — handling requests, tracking deadlines, comparing offers, and following up until things are closed out.

  • You’re sharp at supplier research — finding, screening, and assessing potential vendors with a critical eye.

  • You’re the reliable backbone of the function — taking care of the admin and coordination work that keeps procurement organized and moving.

ABOUT YOU

  • You’re currently studying economics, business administration, or informatics — and you’re genuinely interested in strategic sourcing / purchasing.

  • You like structured processes and systems and enjoy improving how work flows, especially where IT and procurement meet.

  • You’re confident in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and use it to keep things clear, clean, and well-documented.

  • You’re detail-oriented — you catch inconsistencies early and you care about getting things right.

  • Bonus if you’ve worked with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and/or Ironclad (or you pick up new tools fast).

  • You communicate fluently in English; German is a plus.

  • You work independently and in a structured way, stay motivated, and reliably push tasks over the finish line.

OUR OFFER

  • A collaborative environment with colleagues from all over the world (Engineering offices in Europe, Asia and US) including various social events and teambuilding.

  • Flexibility to manage your workday and tasks with autonomy.

  • A balance of structure and autonomy to tackle your daily tasks.

  • Vibrant and inclusive community which welcomes all participants.

  • Global Employee Assistance Programme.

  • Calm and Reulay app (leading well-being apps designed to support focus, quality rest, mindfulness, and long-term mental resilience).

  • Online training videos.

While we appreciate the flexibility and benefits of working from home, we strongly believe that coming together in person fosters stronger connections, encourages collaboration, and drives innovation - both as individuals and as a company. The energy, shared ideas, and team support we experience in the office strengthen the foundation of our success and culture. For this reason, we are an office-first business operating on a hybrid model, with team members working in the office three days a week to build relationships, exchange ideas, and grow together.

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  • Initial Screening: A quick chat with our Talent Acquisition Partner to understand your background and expectations.

  • Video Interview: Meet with the Hiring Manager to dive into your solution, as also discuss team fit.

  • Onsite Interview: Meet with the local team and take a tour of our office.

  • Final Steps: Receive feedback and, if successful, an offer!
