Summer 2026 Cash Operations Internship

Are you looking for professional experience at a great company in banking and finance? This might be the opportunity for you! We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company in our Cash Operations. This nine-week internship helps college students gain meaningful work experience through targeted educational opportunities to develop them as future organizational leaders. Overview

The Cash Operations team ensures that the bank’s daily cash operations, including teller, ATM, and vault balancing, run smoothly and efficiently. They also manage the annual escheatment process, ensuring unclaimed funds are handled properly and in compliance with regulations. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to operational banking functions and learn how accuracy and timeliness keep the system running.

Location

  • St. Louis, MO/Support Center (Hybrid Remote)

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn the daily balancing process for tellers, ATMs, and vaults

  • Assist with the annual escheatment process by researching and clearing unclaimed items

  • Support the team by covering responsibilities during staff absences

Qualifications

  • Current full-time student enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program

  • Degree emphasis in Business Management, Finance or related field 

  • Expected graduation date of May 2027 or May 2028

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft/Google tools

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Time management abilities

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Team-oriented approach
