MARSHALLTOWN is a market leader in construction tools and a growing force in digital commerce. We’re looking for a highly motivated Ecommerce Marketplace Intern with a background in Computer Science or Engineering, or Management Information Systems to join our Ecommerce team and gain hands-on experience managing digital product data, analyzing performance, and optimizing Amazon listings.
This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to projects that directly impact our success on Amazon and other digital platforms.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and improve internal tools and automation to support the day-to-day operations on multiple Ecommerce platforms.
• Assist with the management and optimization of product listings, including descriptions, specifications and advertising on Amazon using data-driven techniques.
• Support bulk uploads and catalog maintenance using spreadsheets and/or scripts.
• Help build tools and processes that streamline ecommerce operations, such as data scrapers, format converters, or content validators.
• Work with the team to interpret Amazon performance metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion, reviews) and suggest optimizations.
• Participate in keyword research and on-page optimization projects.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Category Teams to ensure listings meet brand standards.
• Learn the ins and outs of Amazon Seller Central, gaining experience in a fast-paced ecommerce environmen

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related technical field.
• Basic coding skills in C#, Java, or similar.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Interest in Ecommerce, digital marketplaces, or data-driven marketing.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
• Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central is a plus, but not required.
