MARSHALLTOWN is recruiting Electrical Engineering Interns for Spring and/or Summer 2026 in our Fayetteville, Arkansas office location. You will work in a fast-paced, fun and rewarding environment with people who will appreciate your contribution. You will gain hands-on experience implementing and supporting creative automation solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing process and machines.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, specify, and implement electrical control systems
  • Design and implement mechanical systems and fixtures for use in automated applications
  • Program robots, PLCs, HMIs, and CNC equipment
  • Work with mentors and teams to solve problems to improve real manufacturing processes
  • Improve system designs for better safety and production efficiency
  • Develop and execute in-house testing procedures
  • Perform data collection and analysis

Qualifications


Desired Qualifications of the Position Include:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Controls, or related technology field. GPA 3.0 or above
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical and/or Autodesk Inventor
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of circuit design and power systems
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc Robots, and/or HAAS CNCs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
