About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future. Keppel South Central is a brand new Prime Grade Office Building located in Tanjong Pagar. This internship opportunity provides meaningful hands-on learning opportunities for selected interns to understand, experience and learn about asset management and building operations. This internship role is a dual role covering 2 key aspects of running and managing the asset: 1) Leasing, 2) Operations. The intern will be responsible in the following: 1) Be fully involved in the asset operations in Keppel South Central, including but not limited to conducting iewings/visits by prospective tenants, engage and service existing tenants on their building and space requirements, 2) Manage and work with the outsourced facilities management companies to ensure that the building runs well befitting of a brand new prime grade building bearing Keppel's name. 3) Engage the external property consultants such as JLL, CBRE and Savills to build a strong pipeline of prospective tenants 4) Assist in driving operation excellence by reviewing existing standard operating procedures such as tenant fitout guide, leasing processes etc to provide meaningful ideas that may provide value to process improvements 5) Seek out new alternative revenue streams for the building, including marketing, placemaking programmes and to organise programmes/initiatives/events to create a vibrant community and create signature activities/events for the building 6) Plan and execute tenants’ onboarding. Work with the team to achieve the set customer satisfaction and net promoter scores. 7) Ad-hoc assignments e.g. new initiatives as may be reasonably requested by HQ / Department Head from time to time. Learning Outcomes: 1) exposed to a strong and wide network of real estate professionals beyond Keppel for the intern's future career. 2) Have a good understanding in leasing and operations processes that creates a strong foundation for a future career in real estate. 3) Be equipped with the fundementals of real estate operations and asset management on the ground e.g. revenue, operations, cost that builds the foundation of real estate investment and asset managementJOB REQUIREMENTS
- self driven and takes initiative, be comfortable to work with a wide group of people both from Keppel and external - strong communication skills - some understanding of financial modelling - preferably, be interested and have experience in events organising/placemaking/online content creation.BUSINESS SEGMENT
