YOUR ROLE

 
As part of the Africa Region Commercial team, you'll drive the sales performance and commercial excellence of the network by monitoring results, providing strategic market and competitor insights, and supporting teams with BI Tools and change management initiatives.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? 

 

  • Monitor and improve the sales performance of the network and oversee all related commercial activities in direct coordination with the CCO and commercial managers across various countries.
  • Set up and maintain BI dashboards for local and regional teams, and support countries in using BI tools and standard reporting processes.
  • Prepare monthly performance reviews for management.
  • Maintain ongoing competitor intelligence activities to assess strengths, weaknesses, and market dynamics, and provide strategic recommendations to protect and grow our market footprint in Africa.
  • Support line management in producing and continuously enhancing comprehensive competitor and market analyses.
  • Facilitate commercial transformation and change management within our network (NOVA business, AQUA contracts, SpotOn, BV2.0, analyses)

 


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the National Service Code, only candidates aged 18 to 28 and European nationals are eligible for this mission offered as a VIE.
  • With a 4/5-year degree, your shipping experience and/or your good understanding of the shipping business, as well as a good sensitivity to information systems, will enable you to handle this position effectively. You must have experience a commercial experience.
  • You are organized and detail-oriented, and you know how to prepare and use data for statistical purposes. You pay particular attention to data quality.
  • Listening skills, excellent communication skills and persuasiveness will be useful.
  • Your interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict will be assets in a complex, fast-moving organization.
  • Finally, fluent English is a prerequisite.
