We are seeking a passionate and driven Behavior Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team at KidsChoice Therapy & Play Center. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges, helping them achieve meaningful progress and enhance their overall quality of life.

Under the supervision and mentorship of experienced BCBAs, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience in ABA Therapy—designing and implementing evidence-based interventions that promote growth, independence, and success for our clients.

Qualifications & Responsibilities


Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention.
  • Designing, implementing and monitoring skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
  • Writing treatment plans, progress summaries, clinical notes, transition summaries and professional correspondence.
  • Overseeing the implementation of behavior analytic programs by others.
  • Communicating and collaborating effectively with caregivers, team members and other professionals.
  • Other activities normally performed by a behavior analyst that are directly related to behavior analysis such as attending meetings and researching literature.

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in recognized ABA bachelors or master's coursework.
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Positive attitude, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Tracking of your supervised fieldwork hours is to be documented on paper or electronic spreadsheet. This is to be reported to your supervisor on a MONTHLY basis for approval and signature.
