About the Role

You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.
 

Position Purpose: Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.

Duties:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of how Major Incident Management functions at an enterprise level and the importance of the practice.

  • Achieve a high level understanding of all the ITSM practices leveraged at Centene organization.

  • Participate in our MIM training program, which includes a practical assessment.

  • Practice working Major Incidents with the MIM team and joining and participating in our Daily IT Operations standup meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (PowerBi and/or Power Automate experience would be great to have)
  • Career interest aligns with IT service management and/or incident management space
  • Have worked with Copilot and/or AI process improvement projects

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.

Pay Range: $18-26/hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
