As a Food Scientist Intern, you'll contribute to enhancing the overall sensory including aroma and flavor in our ChoViva and a new ingredient under development, while assisting with ingredient preparation and prototype development.
A Taste of What to Expect
- You will support in recipe, product and/or flavor development of the current ChoViva products or a new ingredient currently under development
- Plan and carry our test productions, including raw material preparation
- Conduct food science analyses using tools such as rheometers, texture analyzers, refractometers and sensory evaluation methods
- Assist in flavor analytics using GC-MS where applicable
- Document new recipes and create product prototypes in collaboration with the Sales team
- Assist with daily operational tasks, including packing and shipping prototypes to clients
The Perfect Recipe of Skills & Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition or similar field
- Ideally, you have some initial experience in the food sector
- You have a passion for sustainable food and working hand in hand with other ambitious people on something meaningful
- You are enthusiastic about food science and product development and willing to learn food science related analytical methods
- You are self-disciplined, hands-on, pro-active and ready to take ownership
