Sports Management / Business Admin Intern - Leagues

Are you interested in gaining real-world experience in sports management, customer experience, and program execution?<br><br> </div><div>United Sports is looking for a motivated <strong>Sports Management / Business Administration Intern</strong> to support the planning, organization, and day-to-day execution of our <strong>Youth and Adult Leagues</strong>. This internship is ideal for students who want hands-on exposure to league operations, game-day management, and the business side of sports.<br><br> </div><div>As a <strong>Leagues Intern</strong>, you’ll work closely with our League Directors, operations staff, and marketing team to ensure a high-quality experience for players, parents, and teams, from registration through game day.<br><br> </div><div> <strong>What You’ll Do<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Assist in the <strong>planning, organization, and execution</strong> of Youth and Adult League seasons</li> <li>Support <strong>game-day operations</strong>, including set-up and breakdown of courts, turfs, and league spaces</li> <li>Help prepare, organize, and manage league equipment such as jerseys, game balls, trophies, medals, and signage</li> <li>Provide excellent <strong>customer service</strong> by interacting with players, parents, coaches, and team managers</li> <li>Assist league staff with <strong>registration support</strong>, rosters, schedules, and basic administrative tasks</li> <li>Help implement league-related marketing initiatives, including in-facility promotion, flyer distribution, and in-person outreach</li> <li>Observe and assist league staff and coaches to help ensure age-appropriate instruction, fair play, and a positive environment</li> <li>Support special league events such as opening days, playoffs, championships, and award presentations</li> <li>Collect feedback from participants and staff to help improve league operations and player experience</li> </ul><div> <strong>You Might Be a Great Fit If You…<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Are majoring in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field</li> <li>Have a strong interest in <strong>sports operations, leagues, or facility management</strong> </li> <li>Are organized, dependable, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Enjoy working with people of all ages and providing great customer service</li> <li>Are willing to work <strong>evenings and weekends</strong>, especially during league play</li> <li>Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team</li> </ul><div> <strong>Compensation<br></strong><br> </div><div>This is internship is eligible for either <strong>A.) unpaid with college credit</strong> or <strong>B.) paid stipend with no college credit.</strong> </div> </div>
