Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in an environment that will allow the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects in a high-performance culture
  • Improve general business competencies, including communication, team-building, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Lead one or two primary projects in one of our shop areas or field service areas involving valves, instrumentation and process control equipment
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the business unit and gain hands on experience in the process control industry
  • Develop and present an end of summer summary of the internship experience for the ECI management team

Requirements

 The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will be an actively enrolled student working toward a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or other engineering disciplines or an equivalent area of study
  • Must have a strong desire to learn new technologies in a hands-on environment
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to work individually or as a team member
  • Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in the organization
