Who We’re Hiring:

EMC Mechanical Services is offering an Inside Sales Internship for the Summer of 2026!  The Inside Sales Intern will work closely with the Maintenance Sales Team to support lead generation and early-stage sales activities.  This role is ideal for a student majoring in Marketing, Business, or a related field who wants hands-on experience in sales, prospecting, and commercial service operations.  The intern will gain direct exposure to the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to early customer engagement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective commercial customers to introduce HVAC service offerings.
  • Follow up on warm leads generated by the Maintenance Sales Team.
  • Assist in researching potential clients, market segments, and competitive activity.
  • Learn and participate in the company’s sales process, including CRM usage, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking.
  • Schedule and occasionally conduct initial sales meetings with prospective customers under the guidance of senior sales staff.
  • Maintain accurate call logs, notes, and lead information.

Qualifications


What You’ll Bring:

  • Currently attending a four-year college or university studying Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Must be willing and able to work required working hours as assigned by supervisor (not to exceed 40 per week).
    • Approximately 12-week internship, Summer 2025
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects is essential.
  • Fluent English verbal and written skills are required.
  • General physical requirements:
    • Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb. 
    • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted. 
    • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
