About the Role

Essential Requirements:
  • Graduating student or fresh graduate of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field
  • Must have no pending laboratory courses and be able to render full-time hours
  • Proficient in social media research, able to dig into candidates’ online presence to verify information and gather insights
  • Strong organisational skills, time management, and attention to detail
  • Willing to work 8 hours daily via Zoom with the camera on
  • Able to start this month

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and organised Recruitment Intern to join our growing team. This 6-month internship offers hands-on exposure to recruitment and talent acquisition, with a strong focus on candidate sourcing, coordination, ATS management, and compliance support.

You’ll work closely with Recruitment Specialists and gain practical experience across the full hiring lifecycle.



Key Responsibilities:

 

​Recruitment Support
  • Assist Recruitment Specialists in sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and other channels
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Prepare interview materials, take interview notes, and provide feedback
  • Coordinate candidate communication, including interview scheduling and follow-ups


Background Checks & Compliance Support

  • Conduct basic background checks by emailing or calling candidate referees
  • Follow up on reference confirmations and required documents
  • Track background check status and ensure files are complete and properly documented
  • Perform regular follow-ups to ensure timely completion of requirements
  • Conduct social media research to investigate candidates’ online presence, verify information, and gather relevant insights
  • Review and verify background check documents to ensure candidate legitimacy.
  • Prepare a summary report of background check results and ensure all documentation is complete.
     

ATS Management

  • Maintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Ensure accurate documentation of applications, interview stages, and hiring progress
     

General Support

  • Assist with recruitment-related administrative tasks (data entry, file management)
  • Conduct basic research on roles, candidates, and industry trends
  • Proactively learn and gain exposure to all stages of the recruitment process


Key Skills and Qualities:
 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and willingness to learn
  • Genuine interest in recruitment and talent acquisition
  • Confident, assertive, and professional in communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to undergo and pass a background check as a condition of employment (a consent form will be provided to shortlisted candidates)

  • 256GB storage space - minimum
  • 16GB RAM - minimum
  • Dual Core CPU - minimum
  • Camera: HD Webcam (720p)
  • Headset: Noise-cancelling (preferably)
  • Internet Speed: 50 Mbps - minimum
