Position Title: Social Work Intern

Job Summary: The social work intern will work under the supervision of a licensed social worker to provide direct services to individuals, families, and groups in a variety of settings. The intern will assist in the development and implementation of care plans, conduct assessments, provide counseling and support services, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans for clients
  • Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and eligibility for services
  • Provide counseling and support services to clients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress
  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and coordinate care
  • Attend trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with clients and colleagues
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
