About the Role

The Area: Morningstar China Product team aims to empower domestic wealth management institutions, fund companies, distribution platforms, and individual investors by leveraging core capabilities in data, tools, research, and advisory solutions. We support clients in making informed, long-term investment decisions amid complex market environments.

The Role: As a Business Analyst intern, you will assist in detailed requirements analysis, process documentation, user acceptance testing, product delivery process management, and data-driven product operations.  


Responsibilities: 
1.    Assist in evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the development and implementation of solutions
2.    Support business analysts in managing project progress and contribute to client-facing materials preparation. 
3.    Assist in performing user acceptance testing for new features and support business analyst, product managers, and developers in resolving data or product-related issues. 

Requirements: 
1.    Current enrollment in Bachelor or Master’s degree, Finance-related major is preferred. 
2.    Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook and Word, with programming skills (Python/SQL/Java) preferred.  
3.    Self-directed and detail oriented.
4.    Task-oriented and good communication skills.
5.    Creative thinker with analytical problem-solving skills, curiosity, and critical thinking abilities.
6.    At least 3 months’ availability with 4-5 days/week.
