ES org has several teams that are responsible for the overall workflow from “Code to Customer” across Snowflake.</p><p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Paid, full-time internships</p></li><li><p>Post-internship career opportunities (full-time)</p></li><li><p>Exposure to a fast-paced, fun, and inclusive culture</p></li><li><p>A chance to work with world-class experts on challenging projects</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to provide meaningful contributions to a real system used by customers</p></li><li><p>High level of access to supervisors (manager and mentor), detailed direction without micromanagement, feedback throughout your internship, and a final evaluation</p></li><li><p>Stuff that matters: treated as a member of the Snowflake team, included in company meetings/activities, flexible hours, casual dress code, swag, and much more</p></li><li><p>Catered lunches, access to recreational games, happy hours, company outings, and more</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>WHAT WE EXPECT:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship</p></li><li><p>Desired majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field</p></li><li><p>Required coursework (at least 1-2): algorithms, data structures, and operating systems, programming, software testing</p></li><li><p>Recommended coursework: cloud computing, database systems, or distributed systems</p></li><li><p>Excellent programming skills in Javascript/Typescript, Java, or Python</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of data structures and algorithms</p></li><li><p>Strong problem solving and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment</p></li><li><p>Experience with working as a part of a team</p></li><li><p>Dedication and passion for technology</p></li><li><p>Interested in quality, developer experience & productivity or platform engineering</p></li><li><p>Duration: 3 months minimum (opportunity for 6 months as well)</p></li></ul><p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL LEARN/GAIN:</strong></p><ul><li><p>How to build enterprise-grade, reliable, and trustworthy software/services</p></li><li><p>Develop new 3rd party integrations that contribute to expanding the functionality of the Snowflake application and deliver an awesome, consistent user experience.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with product management, and other software engineers to deliver new customer-facing features.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with cloud infrastructure, AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud in particular.</p></li></ul><p>Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
