Advancement Program:

  • Culinary Internship program (14 weeks)

 

Compensation: Full-time Seasonal with hourly pay

Schedule: Flexible morning and evening shifts along with weekend shifts

Location: 2401 Willow Springs Dr, Boca Raton, Florida 33496

 

Culinary Internship Program Overview:

Our Culinary Internship programs are designed for students and recent graduates eager to build a strong foundation in the culinary arts industry. Our goal is to develop a culinary student in a 14-week immersive culinary experience designed to build a strong foundation in professional cooking, restaurant operations, and leadership. Through hands-on training, rotational placements, and shadowing opportunities, interns gain exposure to various culinary disciplines—from classical techniques to modern innovations—while working in a luxury private club environment.

 

Program Details:

  • Rotational Kitchen Experience across multiple food & beverage outlets (Zest, 1401 East, Cirq, Pastry Department).
  • Hands-On Culinary Skills: Knife work, mise en place, pastry, pasta-making, baking, sous vide, and molecular gastronomy.
  • Leadership Development through mentorship and chef shadowing.
  • Menu Development & Collaboration with chefs and front-of-house teams.
  • Teamwork & Efficiency training in high-paced environments.
  • Daily Responsibilities: Sanitation, inventory rotation (FIFO), pre-shift briefings, and cross-functional communication.
  • Reflection & Feedback: Final evaluation, self-assessment, and goal-setting for future growth.

  • Rotations Across Departments: Gain a well-rounded understanding of the hospitality business by rotating through diverse operational areas within a department or across multiple departments.
  • Leadership Training & Shadowing: Exposure to culinary leadership and kitchen management responsibilities.
  • Mentorship & Networking: Build meaningful connections and receive career guidance from seasoned professionals in the hospitality sector.

Hands-On Experience: Engage in real-world projects and challenges, helping to shape your practical expertise in the industry

Qualifications


Knowledge & Skill Requirements: 

 

  • Passion for culinary arts and hospitality
  • Personable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to multitask and work in high-pressure environments
  • Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety standards
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull 20–60 lbs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Culinary education is highly preferred

 

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma and/or GED are required. 
  • Enrolled in, or graduate of, a college or University
  • Degree in progress or completed within a Culinary program
