Position Description

As an Intern, you’ll be part of a team committed to protecting people and improving workplace safety.

 

Position Details

This is a full-time internship position based in Lindsay, NE (May – August 2026). Limited travel may be required. Relocation assistance not provided.

 

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Hazard and Risk Assessment of existing and new processes
  • Participation in Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) verification and development
  • Participation in Shop Floor safety audits and observations
  • Participation in incident investigations and root cause analysis

 

Qualifications

  • Student pursing degree in Occupational Safety, Environment, Health & Safety, or related fields
  • Organizational skills and attention to details
  • Strong inter-personal communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Interest in making the workplace safer and more efficient

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to acclimate to various weather conditions in an indoor/outdoor work environment
  • Standard Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility to accommodate academic commitments
