Internship Program:

A Grace Church Internship is for those who have completed one year of college or its equivalent. Within a specific area of ministry, interns will be given ministry responsibilities, receive weekly coaching and mentorship from their supervisor, and leadership and spiritual development from the Senior Pastor and others.   • Program Dates: Late May – Early August
  • Hourly Rate: $11/hour; Paid Bi-Weekly
  • Weekly Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM; 3 Flex hours/ and Ministry Special Events

Job Summary

Our Grace Students ministry is devoted to investing in our 5th-12th grade students to become outward focused followers of Jesus. Through weekly teaching, small groups, fun events, and serving opportunities, our goal is to equip our youth to love Jesus fully and be a light in their community. We are looking for hardworking, Jesus-loving individuals who are passionate about youth ministry and can provide insight and leadership to Grace Students. During this internship, you will mentor students weekly, help plan and execute our 6th through 12th grade services on Wednesday nights, help plan and execute our 5th and 6th grade services on Sunday mornings and help write and teach curriculum.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Help plan and execute G56 on Sunday mornings
  • Help plan and execute Grace Students services on Wednesday nights
  • Attend and help lead a huddle, if applicable to your campus
  • Mentor high school students weekly
  • Plan and teach curriculum
  • Attend and lead at summer camp
  • Plan and organize summer events for students

 

Qualifications


Skills/Experience:

  • Volunteer experience in Student Ministry
  • High School Diploma and at least one year of college or its equivalent
  • Experience and passion for church and the community
  • Motivated to learn and lead
  • Great relational skills: full of faith, friendly, calm, and professional
  • Exhibit a heart of passion, humility, and integrity
  • Good organizational and administrative skills
  • Skilled in researching and finding requested information
