Internship Program:

A Grace Church Internship is for those who have completed one year of college or its equivalent. Within a specific area of ministry, interns will be given ministry responsibilities, receive weekly coaching and mentorship from their supervisor, and leadership and spiritual development from the Senior Pastor and others.   • Program Dates: Late May – Early August
  • Hourly Rate: $11/hour; Paid Bi-Weekly
  • Weekly Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM; 3 Flex hours/ and Ministry Special Events

Job Summary

Our worship arts ministry at Grace is full of creativity, passion, and talent. Through participating in weekend worship planning, this intern will also research music, schedule volunteers, and learn how worship is led at a multi-site campus. They will get a well-rounded view of worship while leading at Grace Students, weekend services, and other events. If connecting to Jesus through music gets you excited, then this is the internship for you. We will be hiring interns for all three of our campuses.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Recruit and schedule a group of musicians/production team members
  • Learn the Production side of worship
  • Participate in weekend worship planning
  • Lead worship during the weekend and Wednesday night student ministry
  • Lead worship and assist in filming for various ministry needs
  • Learn basics of AVL systems by volunteering on off stage weeks
  • Learn audition management and process
  • Grow in skill (vocals, guitar, piano, etc.)
  • Lead and execute a team worship/community night
  • Prepare setlists
  • Attend weekly service review meetings
  • Participate in weekend worship filming
  • Research music and add new songs to the database as needed

Qualifications


Skills/Experience:

  • ·Volunteer experience in Worship
  • ·High School Diploma and at least one year of college or its equivalent
  • ·Experience and passion for church and the community
  • ·Motivated to learn and lead
  • ·Great relational skills: full of faith, friendly, calm, and professional
  • ·Exhibit a heart of passion, humility, and integrity
  • ·Good organizational and administrative skills
  • ·Skilled in researching and finding requested information
