About The Company
We are not simply contractors or architects. We’re something else. Something new. Something different. We are the coming together of different things into a better thing. We are solvers, thinkers, doers who instinctively, intuitively, and boldly adapt to change. We are a new breed. A different animal. A hybrid with a single mission: Create. Construct. Cultivate.
About the Role

Industrialized Construction Engineer Internship

Build the future of building.
Creature is developing an integrated platform to transform how buildings are designed, manufactured, and assembled. As an Industrialized Construction Engineer Intern, you will serve as a critical link between our manufacturing operations and field execution—ensuring that every prefabricated component we produce is optimized for precision, scalability, and seamless installation.

This role is ideal for a detail-driven engineer with a manufacturing mindset who wants to apply those standards to the built environment.

What You’ll Do

Bridge Design & Build

  • Translate design intent into field-ready processes by coordinating across manufacturing, field, and project delivery teams.

Optimize Processes

  • Develop, document, and continuously improve work instructions and standard operating procedures for modular construction workflows.

Advance Prefabrication

  • Support engineering strategies for prefabricated systems (walls, MEP assemblies, etc.) and drive manufacturability throughout the design-build cycle.

Support Production Systems

  • Use Procore, PowerBI, and cost/quantity tracking to monitor production health, install rates, and productivity metrics.

Run the Field Feedback Loop

  • Partner with install teams and superintendents to surface real-world constraints and implement upstream improvements.

Drive Lean Principles

  • Identify waste, propose countermeasures, and contribute to Creature’s evolving modular playbook.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management.
  • Some exposure to a manufacturing or precision assembly environment
  • Familiarity with CAD, Revit, Procore, or equivalent digital tools
  • Interest in learning to read and interpret construction drawings and shop documentation
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Comfort with iteration, feedback, and fast-moving systems

Who Thrives Here

  • A systems thinker who sees connections between design, process, and build
  • Someone who prefers solving upstream over firefighting downstream
  • A communicator who values clarity, accountability, and iteration
  • An engineer who wants to help build a platform—not just a project

Why Creature

Creature is collapsing the traditional silos of architecture, engineering, and construction into a unified Design–Manufacture–Construct platform. We’re here to deliver better buildings, faster—and create a workplace defined by craft, clarity, and growth.

If you’re ready to help reimagine how things get built, we’d love to meet you.
