Internship Program Overview

 

Our 10-week summer internship program gives students hands-on experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while learning about our organization. Interns will connect with leaders, participate in development sessions like self-assessments and business overviews, and take part in networking and community initiatives. The program concludes with a final presentation to leaders and peers, where interns showcase their work, share ideas, and receive valuable feedback. 


Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

The Global Pipeline Strategy Intern will support the Inborn Errors of Metabolism (“AIM”) Global Pipeline Strategy Team in evaluating and optimizing the product pipeline to ensure alignment with long-term business objectives.  

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Assist in the analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform pipeline strategy and business development activities.  
  • Support the development and maintenance of pipeline models and databases.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, medical affairs, patient advocacy and business development, to gather and synthesize data.  
  • Contribute to the preparation of strategic presentations and reports for senior management.  
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings and provide insights based on research and analysis.  

You will need to have

  • Currently pursuing a graduate-level degree (Master’s or PhD) in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field with an expected graduation date of Fall 2026 or later. 
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex data.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Passion for helping patients with rare diseases, advancing the biotechnology industry and a keen interest in strategic planning.  

Location

This is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA. Interns are expected to work on-site up to 3 days per week.
