We made the promise to make banking frictionless, removing barriers to progress, and make people confident in their financial decisions. As a global bank we have a huge opportunity – and responsibility – to make an impact for the better. We can play a role by financing change, sharing knowledge, and innovating. About the Role

ING Australia’s growing Wholesale Bank is looking to hire an Intern for our Corporate Sector Lending team in Sydney for 4 months.

We are seeking to recruit a bright, numerate and articulate intern who wants to start their career in Banking. As a lending intern within the front office, you will support and work closely with Vice Presidents within the corporate sector lending area as well as sector coverage specialists and relationship managers. You will learn how the biggest companies in Australia interact with banks at the institutional/wholesale level.

Corporate Sector Lending is responsible for execution of lending transactions for large corporates across a range of sectors, providing them with our full suite of loan products.

If your plan after graduation is to enter the institutional / wholesale banking world this will give you excellent exposure and experience for your CV. When you apply, please tell us on your covering letter why you want to work in this world and why you think you would be a good fit.

In this internship you will get exposure to wholesale banking operations and corporate lending processes. You will build hands on experience in credit analysis and risk assessment and network with senior professionals in corporate banking and risk management.
