As a Content Design Intern, you will develop product strategy through business and user insights to yield the desired product experience for users. This opportunity will allow you to craft terminology, product and feature naming, and conduct research to optimize product experience and interface. You will collaborate to develop system guidelines and design features and implement a communication strategy to devise and support product positioning. This opportunity will allow you to develop strategic thinking, enhance your research and design skills, and learn how to effectively communicate and position a product in the market.

Responsibilities
  • Define needs of product designs based on multiple factors such as user insights and business needs.
  • Integrate User Experience (UX) thinking with design execution to produce usable and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Utilize a variety of perspectives when concepting (e.g., Technology, Business, and Marketing). Share learnings and collaborate with other designers on the design system, and with content PMs and technical writers on documentation strategy.
  • Assist with fundamental tasks on projects with Design and Engineering team members, program managers, and developers to define and iterate on new and existing product features.
  • Structure product content, develop taxonomies, craft navigation, name components/controls, and define the messaging hierarchy to make information accessible, usable, and understandable.
  • Ensure key concepts, names, terms, and copy are aligned with customers' intent. Craft clear written communication to guide customers through an experience that pairs with visual design.
  • Apply marketing strategy to devise product positioning, messaging direction, and creative execution guidance for use within elements of and across the customer journey.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be enrolled in a full time bachelor's or masters program in an area relevant for the role during the academic term immediately before their internship.
  • Must have at least one semester or term of school remaining following the completion of the internship

 

The base pay range for this internship is USD $5610.00 - $11010.00 per month. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $7270.00 - $12030.00 per month.
