About The Company
International Community Health Services (ICHS) is a nonprofit community health center that offers affordable health care services to Seattle and King County’s Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities, as well as other underserved communities. Each year, ICHS provides direct patient care, health support services, and preventive education to over 28,300 individuals. For over 40 years, ICHS has provided culturally-appropriate and multilingual care to improve the health of our community. ICHS began in 1973 as a small storefront clinic in Seattle’s International District. Today it is the largest Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander community health center in Washington state.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Intern is responsible for providing pharmaceutical services to patients and medical staff by interpreting and preparing medication orders from health care providers; assuring that pharmaceuticals dispensed are in accordance ICHS standards, policies and procedures, and federal and state laws, regulations and standards; and ensuring patients receive safe and appropriate medication therapy, with a focus on quality customer service that honors individual dignity.

Education - Must be licensed as a Intern Pharmacist by the State of Washington.
Experience - N/A
Other Requirement(s) -Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
