About the Role

Mantle Japan Internship is a 12-week immersive experience running from January to March 2026. As one of Mantle’s first regional interns, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping Mantle’s presence in the Japanese community while gaining hands-on exposure to real ecosystem, content, community, and campaign work across the Mantle ecosystem.

This is a remote-first internship, with selective in-person team event experience in 2026

You’ll collaborate closely with the Mantle Core Team, work with mentors, and contribute to initiatives that grow the Mantle ecosystem in Japan.

Mantle is looking for three interns, one for each role:

1. Social & Community Intern
Focus areas:
- Translation (JP ⇄ EN)
- Long-form content dedicated to the Japan market
- Editorial support for ecosystem updates, product explainers, and community education
- Community management and support

2. Community Culture Intern
Focus areas:
- Hosting JP Twitter Spaces/Live sessions
- Supporting offline events and meetups during Japan Community Week
- Assisting with community video creation and storytelling
- Contributing to Mantle’s culture-building efforts within Japan

3. Campaign Intern
Focus areas:
- Coordinating campaigns with eco-partners
- Executing community social campaigns and bounty activations
- Managing campaign promotion channels
- Supporting partnership-based initiatives

Program Structure
Headcount: 1 intern per role
Duration: 3 months (January–March 2026)
Location: Remote-first, with selective in-person experiences
Part-time commitment: 15 hours per week

What You’ll Work On
As a Mantle JP Intern, you will:

  • Contribute directly to ecosystem, community, and growth initiatives within your assigned role.

  • Work cross-functionally with Mantle teams, partners, creators, and community leaders.

  • Participate in team meetings, planning discussions, and project review sessions.

  • Research, propose, and implement initiatives tailored to the Japanese web3 audience.

  • Assist in improving operational processes, documentation, and workflow tools.

  • Present your outcomes to Mantle leaders and community stakeholders at the end of the program.

We’re looking for passionate contributors who:

  • Are active Mantle advocates in the Japanese community in the past 6 month.

  • Demonstrate interest in web3, L2 scaling, digital communities, and ecosystem development.

  • Have strong communication skills in Japanese (native) and English (working proficiency preferred).

  • Exhibit curiosity, initiative, ownership, and a willingness to explore new concepts.

  • Can operate in a remote, distributed environment while managing time effectively.

  • Are eager to contribute creatively to strategize, and excecute in content, campaign, and community growth.

Eligibility & Commitment

  • Have been regular Mantle advocate within the Japanese community in the last 6 months

  • Must be available 15 hours/week for three months

  • Must commit to a formal intern agreement with Mantle
