About the Role

Wir bieten Ihnen an, bei uns in der Abteilung Research in München, ab sofort für mindestens 6 Monate, ein Praktikum oder eine Abschlussarbeit zum Thema "Primary Stability and Range-of-Motion Evaluation in Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty" anzufertigen.

 

Praktikant/Masterand im Bereich Orthopedic Research (w/m/d)

 

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Für eine erfolgreiche Masterarbeit arbeiten Sie sich in die Thematik der Schulterprothektik ein

  • Hierzu testen Sie verschiedene Humerus-Modelle bzgl. Bewegungsumfang und benötigten Muskelkräften

  • Im Rahmen der Humerus-Testungen validieren Sie den Schultersimulator (z.B. Reproduzierbarkeit)

  • Darüber hinaus gehören statistische Auswertung und Datenanalyse zu Ihren Aufgaben

 Ihr Profil

  • Sie sind Student/in im Bereich der Ingenieurwissenschaften, wie beispielsweise Maschinenbau oder einem vergleichbaren Studium. Eine Vertiefung in der Medizintechnik wäre wünschenswert, ist aber nicht Voraussetzung
  • Sie haben Interesse an der Kombination von Mechanik und Medizin
  • Sie sind sicher im Umgang mit den MS-Office-Programmen und haben bereits Erfahrung mit Python/ Matlab
  • Sie haben bereits erste Kenntnisse in 3D-Modelling, wie beispielsweise in SolidWorks
  • Idealerweise verfügen Sie über erste Vorkenntnisse in der Nutzung von CT-Daten sowie in Statistik und maschinellem Lernen
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift runden Ihr Profil ab
