Job Description

Asset Performance Analysis is supporting the rest of the departments with automated analysis and data management. Another important role the department is supporting is data modelling and information management.

Specifically, and most relevant for this position: we are working on supporting the implementation of a specific set of data modelling principles, and the creation of a central information hub, all with the intent of making the company AI-ready.  

You’ll be part of a team that combines expertise, experience, and innovation to drive the development of renewable energy.

Examples of Tasks You Might Work On

Depending on the needs of the department and your interests, you may work on:

  • Supporting the ongoing R&D project Nexus with the development of a central information hub for the company
  • Supporting the development and implementation of a new and highly supported international standard for information modelling – this standard is getting traction in multiple sectors in Norwegian industry (power, railway, construction works…)
  • Support the development of an online learning course
  • Support data modelling tasks with either Hydro, Wind or Solar assets

Tasks will be tailored to ensure you work on areas that excite and engage you the most!

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for students who:

  • Are passionate about renewable energy and sustainable solutions
  • Have strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to work
  • Appreciate structure and neat organization of data and information
  • Are motivated, proactive, and enjoy working in teams
  • Are studying either a relevant base engineering field (mechanical, electrical or any other  energy-related field), data science or systems engineering. 
  • Are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree

Additional Information

  • Application deadline: 20.01.2026
  • Duration: Mid-June to mid-August 2026, the program also includes two weeks of vacation
  • Location: Statkraft HQ, Lilleakerveien 6A, 0283 Oslo
  • Final Presentation: The program concludes with interns presenting their work to management and colleagues (in English)
