Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Legal Intern with a strong interest in data protection, privacy, and trading compliance to support our team in a dynamic and international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR-related topics
  • Assist with compliance reviews of internal data processing activities (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Help develop training materials and awareness initiatives on data handling policies
  • Monitor trading activities using trade surveillance systems to detect potential market abuse
  • Conduct “Know Your Counterparty” (KYC) checks and due diligence on trading partners
  • Track regulatory developments and prepare legal/compliance memos
  • Support internal and external regulatory audits related to trading and reporting

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree in Data Protection, Trading Compliance, European Law, or a related field
  • Available to work full-time for 6 months starting February 2026
  • Solid understanding of the GDPR and core data protection principles
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Additional European language skills are a strong plus
