As an intern E-Commerce/L&I and Marketplaces, you will be supporting the development of our e-commerce operations in the Loyalty & Incentive (L&I) and 3rd Party Marketplaces channels, including the onboarding of new marketplaces (think eBay) within the Consumer Direct team, to enhance Philips’ direct contact with its consumers in Europe by leveraging data. Additionally, you will assist in evolving and implementing the Loyalty & Incentive Partnership strategy to drive sustainable growth.
You are responsible for
Measuring and tracking daily and weekly trade and stock, including performance management per partner and category.
Keeping marketplaces and loyalty programs across Western Europe showing the right products at the right price by working closely with merchandising managers and planners.
Collaborating with partners to generate sales growth through effective promotions and marketing strategies, including asset creation, campaign briefing, and coordination.
Constructing, proposing, evaluating, and scaling individual deals — test and learn.
Ensuring all aspects of the respective loyalty partnerships and marketplaces remain updated and current in terms of visualization, portfolio offer, etc.
Engaging in additional ad-hoc activities based on your interests and profile in e-commerce, such as digital marketing, data analysis, business development, or consumer experience optimization.
You are a part of
You will join the L&I and Marketplaces team within the Consumer Direct Team in the Western European Market for the Personal Health (PH) organization. This team is responsible for the setup and trading of marketplaces within the EU, for example eBay. We operate as a virtual, diverse network organization, with passionate colleagues who are energized to fulfill our purpose of improving people’s health and well-being through meaningful innovation, while always delighting consumers with the right product and planning strategies.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Currently attending a university in the area of business administration, supply chain, and/or e-commerce management in the Netherlands (or comparable).
A seasoned user of Microsoft Excel.
A keen interest and aptitude for e-commerce and merchandising.
Self-motivated, innovative, highly organized, attentive, and proactive.
Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
What we offer you
Monthly full-time allowance ranging from €500 to €700 gross, depending on your educational level. Part-time internships will receive a pro-rata allowance.
Housing compensation for relocation near the office: €300 net for locations near Amsterdam, and €255 net for other Philips locations. To qualify, you must provide a rental contract from your landlord, and your regular home-to-work travel distance must be at least 50 km or your one-way travel time must be 1.5 hours or longer.
Travel compensation of up to €145 net if you are not eligible for a free public transport card.
Paid holidays for the duration of the internship term.
Opportunity to purchase Philips equipment at our Philips shop.
Important

In order to be considered, you must be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation will be requested.
Students from outside the EU enrolled at a Dutch university will need to fill in a NUFFIC agreement – which will need to be signed by the student and the university. Students receiving ECTS credits for this internship will need to fill in a UNL agreement – which will need to be signed by the student and the university.
Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
