About the Role

Photography Internship

Position Summary: Clayton offers a multitude of different opportunities through our Summer Internship Program. The Clayton Summer Internship Program challenges students to think critically and analytically within their field of study while allowing them direct, hands-on working experience. The Photography intern will assist the marketing team in major projects for new branding, as well as provide a fresh perspective for new ideas.

Internship Program Details:

  • Internships are paid, full-time, hourly positions.
  • Internship dates are May 18th – August 7th 2025
  • Internships include several professional development workshops and opportunities for networking with other interns across Clayton's various lines of business.
  • Interns will facilitate a presentation of their Summer project to Clayton Senior Leadership at the completion of their internship.

What you will do:

  • Photographing internal photography requests
  • Planning lifestyle photoshoots
  • Second shooting/assisting Clayton photographers
  • Collaborate with social media team and other stakeholders

What skills you will learn or develop:

  • Planning a lifestyle shoot
  • Experience working with a team of creatives
  • Different types of photography assignments through the stages of pre-production, shooting and post-production
  • Learning editing styles and techniques on Lightroom & Photoshop
  • Experience working as a creative in a corporate environment

Qualifications:

  • Must be a rising junior, senior, or recent graduate in Photography or related field
  • Must have a portfolio showcasing different genres of photography
  • Proficiency with editing programs such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Experience with photographing people, i.e. headshots, events, lifestyle a plus
