About the Role

The Sécheron Hasler Group is a leading supplier of electrical and electronic safety related components and

solutions as well as traction power systems for the global railway industry. Its products and solutions are also

applied in different industrial segments, for renewable energy systems and new DC grids.

We are now looking for our new entity in Singapore, talents to support the activities in the SEA region.

After a deep technical training at our manufacturing plant located in Europe, the candidate will then be in working on

projects for the region in our office located in central area of Singapore, where other experienced T&C engineers will

be able to give necessary support locally.

Main responsibilities:
  • Assist the T&C field engineer in the following tasks:
  • Preparing of interventions. Gather, with the help of the project team, the necessary information
  • to carry out the mission
  • Organization, with the help of the project manager and Engineering team, of the trip to the
  • customer (Singapore or overseas)
  • Supervision and verification of the on-site installation
  • Testing and commissioning of the on-site installation
  • Ensure modification according to the customer request of the on-site installation
  • Ensure troubleshooting including rectification of the on-site installation
  • Responsible for retrofit project of the on-site installation
  • Provides training for operator and maintenance employee at the customer's site
  • Elaborate report after each intervention mentioning purpose of the intervention, analysis and job
  • done on site including open point if any
  • If needed, to inform project team about modifications and on errors found on site and participate
  • in the solution proposal
  • Participation to the creations and updates of installation, operation, maintenance and
  • commissioning documentation (procedures, test reports, manuals)
  • Creation, updating and validation of the training materials for Internal and external trainings
  • Performing the training as per the customer requirements (Theoretical or practical)
  • Participate in the business development and local office improvement
  • Reparation and testing of protection relays and creating related reports
  • Preparation of detailed presentations to the customers
  • Be fluent, both verbal and written in English, any other languages like French or German would be an advantage.
  • Precision and quality of the intervention reports.
  • Work performed within the given timeframe.
  • Flexibility of planning, and ability to travel at any given time in the South East Asia.
