As part of our 2026 Summer Intern Program, you’ll join the Strategic Finance &amp; Analytics (SFA) team within Airbnb’s Finance organization.</p> <p>Our Finance teams support everything from long-term planning and capital raising to financial reporting, supplier management, and even building our office spaces. Within Finance, our SFA team partners with leaders across Airbnb — both functional groups (like Legal) and business areas (like Hosting) — to bring data-driven insights to life. As an intern, you’ll be matched to a team within SFA, supporting a specific part of the company.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The difference you will make:</strong></p> <p>During your internship, you’ll get first-hand experience on what it is like to be a Strategic Finance &amp; Analytics Partner at Airbnb. You’ll have the opportunity to:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Analyze complex business problems and issues using data to provide insight to decision-makers</li> <li>Identify and interpret trends and patterns based on business data and market knowledge</li> <li>Construct and present forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans to stakeholders and leaders</li> <li>Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>The exact project you work on during your internship will be dependent on the team you are placed in. You can expect to:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones</li> <li>Communicate with stakeholders across different teams to provide project updates</li> <li>Seek and provide feedback throughout the internship</li> <li>Actively participate in and contribute to the Finance team and broader Airbnb community</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your expertise:</strong></p> <p>We’re excited to meet <strong>first-year MBA students (graduating Spring 2027)</strong> who are enrolled full-time at nationally-accredited U.S. business schools and bring the following:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate development, management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or business operations</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and process-oriented with the ability to define and execute projects with limited guidance and unclear scope</li> <li>Experience forming strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders within and outside of finance</li> <li>Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively through both written and verbal formats up to the executive level (e.g. Chief Financial Officer, VP of Finance, etc.)</li> <li>Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze complex data to distill insights and provide business recommendations</li> <li>Experience with the following skills and tools: SQL, financial modeling, data analysis and visualization, Tableau</li> <li>Demonstrated interest in high growth, technology, and/or hospitality companies</li> <li>Work authorization for employment in the United States is required&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><em>Preferred but not required:</em></p> <ul> <li>Ability to conduct in-depth industry research and due diligence</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your location:</strong></p> <p>This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
