About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist the Chief Diversity - Inclusion Officer and team in the implementation and execution of projects related to the organization's (DEI) initiatives.
  • Assist with analyzing data from employee engagement surveys and other data sources.
  • Work on DEI initiatives and programs, which includes working with our Associate Resource Groups, talent development and learning programs, events, marketing and communications.
  • Provide administrative support to virtual DEI workshops, training and Associate Resource Group meetings.
  • Research and compile DEI articles, resources, tools and podcasts with the goal of providing recommendations on distributing this content to our workforce.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to facilitate internal and external communications and marketing.
You will also have the opportunity to apply your analytical skills, develop your business acumen skills, grow your research and project management skills, as well as, make recommendations around our DEI strategy and initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college as a part or full-time undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Detail-oriented with good research, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interest in social justice issues and creating diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces, human resources, marketing and communications.
  • This internship will be fully or partially remote and requires access to a reliable computer, internet access and phone.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively follow assignments through to completion. Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Strong computer - internet skills with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
  • High degree of discretion and ability to properly handle confidential information.
  • Ability to seek understanding in ambiguity, and resilient in the face of setbacks.
  • Passion for developing oneself and others.
Required Experience:
  • Enrollment in a 2 or 4-year college or university, with a concentration in Human Resources or Business-related discipline.
