About the Role

Opportunity to work as a co-op/summer student within the Enterprise Brand Marketing department at RBC, supporting on various Sponsorship Marketing platforms.

What is the opportunity?

Are you interested in the opportunity to work as a co-op/summer student within the Enterprise Brand Marketing department at RBC? We have an exciting opportunity to offer qualified candidates – one that provides the selected individual with a wide range of opportunities to support the Brand Marketing team across several key sponsorship platforms and initiatives, including TIFF, Race for the Kids, Olympics, Golf, and Music.

What will you do?

  • Support with the planning and execution of various Brand Marketing platforms

  • Coordinate various marketing initiatives with internal business partners

  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline current processes

  • Coordinate and support with execution onsite at our events (i.e. RBC Canadian Open)

  • Support enterprise objectives by looking for, and supporting, endeavors that align the various brand platforms with their business objectives

  • Act as an integrator to ensure operational and administrative effectiveness of brand marketing strategies

What do you need to succeed?

  • Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus in marketing, communications, or business-related discipline 

  • Previous work experience in brand marketing, event planning, or a related discipline

  • Strong leadership sense and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills

  • Positive attitude with a team-first mentality

  • Ability to innovate and think differently

  • Ability to simultaneously manage projects on an ongoing basis

  • Ability to seek creative solutions to multi-faceted problems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Please note

In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either: 

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or 

  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
