Job Details
Singleton Schreiber is a civil trial firm with a focus on personal injury, mass torts/multi-district litigation, civil rights, and fires. Our Fire Litigation Summer Associate Program is a 10-week program designed to give summer associates hands-on experience working with our Fire Litigation team while gaining valuable, transferable legal skills and a realistic understanding of what it’s like to practice at Singleton Schreiber.
As a Summer Associate, you will be engaged in a variety of fire cases and be included in all litigation team meetings, invited to observe court appearances and depositions, and have weekly check-ins with team leaders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Legal research
- Memo writing
- Discovery review
- Deposition preparation
The program will be full-time starting in May and will end in August with an opportunity to stay part-time during the fall and spring semesters.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
This opportunity is open to second-year law students with the following qualifications:
- Enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school and having completed their 2L year.
- Law Review experience preferred.
- Moot court/mock trial, or another oral advocacy preferred.
- Highly developed communication, writing, leadership, and analytical skills.
SALARY:
$27.00 an hour
