We also use applied technology expertise to serve the defense, entertainment, material handling, aerospace, science, and renewable energy industries.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">LOCATION:</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position.</span></p><br><h2 class="ps_header-group">Position Summary</h2><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">This is a paid Summer Internship Program (early June to early August).</span></p><br><h2 class="ps_header-group">Duties And Responsibilities</h2><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">As an intern with the offshore projects group, you’ll assist with the design and development of next generation IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair) technologies such as unmanned surface vessels, system autonomy, system design, and robotic integration.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">With multiple facets to the program, successful applications will get rewarding work scopes appropriate to their educational background and experience ranging from mechanical design of robotic systems to developing a data model to integrated system optimization.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">Your job responsibilities and projects will provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You’ll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">This is an exciting opportunity to learn ‘real world’ experience and accelerate your career by working with a leader in the oil and gas, aerospace, and entertainment industries.</span></p><br><h2 class="ps_header-group">Qualifications</h2><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">REQUIRED:</span></p><ul><li style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or data science. </span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">Minimum 2.5 GPA.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">Experience with Microsoft Office, CAD system (ME, AE only), Python/R (CS, Data Science only), Requirements management tools.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">No relocation or housing assistance is being offered.</span></li></ul><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">DESIRED:</span></p><ul><li style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big">Exposure to physical tools as used for home improvement, wood working, automotive related and similar, programming whether as part of coursework or as a hobby.</span></li></ul><br><h2 class="ps_header-group">Equal Opportunity Employer</h2><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="text-big" style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">All qualified candidates will receive consideration for all positions without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or other non-merit factors.</span></p><br><h2 class="ps_header-group">How To Apply</h2><p><span class="text-big" style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Regular full-time employees who apply will be considered along with external candidates.
