This internship will provide valuable exposure to sustainability reporting frameworks, regulatory requirements, and the role of sustainability in the financial sector.</p><p></p><p>If this interests you, then be sure to check out the Sustainability Reporting Summer Internship opportunity below!</p><p></p><p><b>What will you do:</b></p><ul><li><p>Research and monitor developments in sustainability reporting standards and regulations (e.g., ISSB, CSSB, CSRD) to promote readiness with evolving guidelines</p></li><li><p>Help perform gap analysis against sustainability disclosure requirements to inform compliance assessments</p></li><li><p>Help perform benchmarking of peer sustainability disclosures to inform future reporting strategies</p></li><li><p>Help roll-forward the sustainability report using our reporting tool to prepare for the 2026 reporting cycle</p></li><li><p>Assist in organizing and maintaining documentation of reporting processes and controls</p></li><li><p>Assist in the preparation of sustainability-related materials for senior leadership forums</p></li><li><p>Partner with internal stakeholders to contribute to initiatives and reports across the organization</p></li><li><p>Help configure RBC’s sustainability reporting tool to best suit reporting needs</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What do you need to succeed?</b></p><p><u>Must-have</u></p><ul><li><p>Working towards a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field</p></li><li><p>Strong personal skills and ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment</p></li><li><p>Professional written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint</p></li><li><p>Highly organized with strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy</p></li><li><p>Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines</p></li></ul><p><u>Nice-to-have</u></p><ul><li><p>Knowledge and understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., TCFD, ISSB, OSFI B-15, CSRD, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Previous experience working with a Financial Institution</p></li></ul><ul></ul><p><b>Please note</b>: </p><p>In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either: </p><ul><li><p>Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or </p></li><li><p>If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What’s in it for you?</b></p><p>We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
