In order to support the Airbus Central Research & Technology Team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an

Intern in Probabilistic Deep Learning (d/f/m)

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to contribute to the research on artificial intelligence for future applications in the aerospace sector? Then join us as an intern (d/f/m) in Airbus Central Research & Technology (1XRD) in Taufkirchen, close to Munich.

  • Location: Taufkirchen / Munich

  • Start: Q2 / Q3 2026

  • Duration: 6 months

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Supporting research activities in machine learning, in particular probabilistic deep learning, Bayesian deep learning, and uncertainty quantification.

  • Contributing to the development of demonstrators for relevant aerospace use cases  

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled full-time student in computer science, information technology, mathematics, engineering, or similar field of study 

  • Experience in implementing machine learning algorithms using Python/PyTorch

  • Experience in Bayesian deep learning and uncertainty quantification is a plus

  • Able to work independently

  • Proficient in English
