Brown & Brown is seeking candidates for our Summer Internship Program in Minneapolis, MN!

Our interns will be provided with the opportunity to gain an introduction to various areas within the insurance brokerage industry, as well as a deep dive into either the Employee Benefits or Property & Casualty teams. 

  • Interview and Offer Process will begin January 2026

  • Program starts May 27th, 2026 and ends mid-August 2026

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Work with dedicated mentor to train, receive daily work assignments, ask questions, etc.

  • Presentations from department leads to help gain a comprehensive understanding of organizational functions and career paths.

  • Opportunity to visit both Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty insurance carriers to learn about their organization and how it relates to the industry.

  • Involvement in a variety of activities such as marketing, policy review, client renewal presentations and onsite client meetings as available.

  • Opportunity to meet and work alongside a variety of students from varying schools

  • Networking challenges - creating opportunity to connect with professionals across departments and build meaningful relationships with peers and mentors.

  • Participate in sessions focused on building and refining skills surrounding professional business acumen.

  • Collaborate on a real-world project and present strategic recommendations to leadership with other fellow interns.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • Must be entering senior year in fall 2026 and pursuing a career in commercial insurance or employee benefits

  • Involvement in combination of sports, student government, college clubs or community service (Leadership activity in these events is a plus)

  • Prior work experience desired

  • Strong communication skills

  • Analytical Aptitude

Pay Range

$15.00 - $16.00 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
