Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve performance of advanced algorithms on large-scale datasets and cutting-edge research in machine intelligence and machine learning applications.
- Think through the product scenarios and goals, identify key challenges, then fit the scenario asks into Machine Learning (ML) tasks, design experimental process for iteration and optimization.
- Implement prototypes of scalable systems in AI applications.
- Research, develop, and suggest new ideas in the implementation of AI solutions and ways of metricizing them.
- Research, select and apply appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques according to project goals and constraints.
- Prepare data to be used for analysis by reviewing criteria that reflect quality and technical constraints.
- Reviews data and suggests data to be included and excluded and be able to describe actions taken to address data quality problems.
- Assist with the development of usable datasets for modeling purposes and support the scaling of feature ideation and data preparation.
- Help take cleaned data and adapt for machine learning purposes, under the direction of a senior team member.
Qualifications
✅ Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related fields.
- Analytical skills and the ability to extract insights from data as well as understanding of classical ML algorithms, neural networks and transformers.
- Strong interpersonal (curiosity, problem-solving, collaboration) and communication skills, and passion to learn from your peers, managers, and other stakeholders in the ML domain.
- Solid coding skills in Python or other high-level language.
- You must be legally authorized to work in Serbia to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorized = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit)
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ML training, fine-tuning and evaluation techniques.
- Experience, projects, or course work on applying ML to solve complex problems and work with various data modalities or large-scale datasets.
- Ability to comprehend the content from academic papers in the NLP domain.
- Experience in an object-oriented language (e.g., C#, Java, C++, etc.) and ML libraries (PyTorch).
