About the Role

Why Yokogawa? – A Century of Purpose-Driven Progress

At Yokogawa, we believe technology and people can co‑create a better, more sustainable future. In HR, that means building simple, reliable people processes—and empowering employees with clear data, fair performance practices, and compliant, digital-first ways of working.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll join the HR team to accelerate three essential workstreams:

  • Digital Transformation & GDPR-by‑design: Map and digitize HR files and workflows using our core platforms (Workday, SharePoint) and good record‑keeping practices. Recommend “right‑place” storage and retention, and propose a pragmatic naming/metadata structure to improve findability. Support privacy and data protection housekeeping (consents, access controls, retention schedules, privacy notices), ensuring our practices align with Yokogawa’s Employee Privacy Notice, Data Protection Policy, and GDPR training guidance.

  • Performance & Appraisal (OKR & evaluations): Help coordinate the annual performance cycle (goal setting, mid‑year touchpoints, year‑end evaluations). Analyse feedback and adoption metrics to spot friction points and suggest improvements to our OKR and check‑in habits.

  • Policies & Procedures: Review HR policies and handbooks, identify overlaps/gaps, and edit for clarity and consistency across procedures. Convert “paper policies” into simple checklists, pages, and templates so managers and employees can use them easily.

  • You will also have the opportunity to contribute to a range of other HR projects, gaining broad experience across the HR function.
