About the Role
<h1><b><b><b>Job Description Summary</b></b></b></h1>System Eng. Student works in close collaboration in the GE Healthcare Systems team, to develop new product applications and supports ongoing activities. Activities consist of image quality tests and analysis, suggestions for improvements at system level, and problem solving, in addition to maintenance activities (traceability, BOM\PCM items, specs documentation and databases structuring). The applicant will work under the guidance and supervision of the lead-system engineer and\or lead service integrator.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><p><b><u>Responsibilities:</u></b></p><p>Duties include (but are not limited to):   </p><ul><li>Develop and perform experiments and data analysis on new products based on a given detection technology (NM\PET\CT). The work is experimental and requires hands execution of various tasks, such as: Calibrations, image quality tests, system detection performance tests.</li><li>Implement system knowledge and work with other functions (Software, Hardware and Mechanical teams) to optimize and debug detection performance.</li><li>Evaluate and extend new concepts as well as provide innovation, which can be easily developed and added to product baseline performance.</li><li>Help to investigate and analyze complex and cross-functional issues with current Nuclear Medicine products.</li><li>Execute specifications and traceability maintenance activities, PCM updates, licensing, etc.</li></ul><div></div><p></p><p><b><u>Qualifications:</u></b></p><ul><li>Electrical/ Biomedical Engineering, or Physics student (BSc/MSc - advantage to MSc) with at least 2 semesters before graduating.</li><li>Results oriented, and ability of multi-tasking</li><li>Experience in MATLAB coding - advantage.</li><li>Experience in Computer Simulations and statistical tools - advantage.</li><li>Independent by nature and Self-learner</li><li>Fluent English (speaking and writing)</li><li>Partial job of 2-4 days a week</li></ul><p></p><p><span>GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator.
