About the Internship

Join the Customer Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) department at Collins Aerospace — a team dedicated to driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cultural transformation across the organization.

As a CORE Intern, you will support the sustainment of the Singapore CORE Operating System, contributing to the company’s 2026 improvement targets. You’ll gain valuable exposure to process improvement, performance analytics, and stakeholder engagement across multiple business functions.

What You Will Learn

  • Learn how the CORE Operating System drives continuous improvement and operational maturity across business units.
  • Develop analytical and problem-solving skills through hands-on exposure to process improvement projects.
  • Gain practical experience in program management and organizational performance tracking.
  • Strengthen your communication, collaboration, and presentation skills by interacting with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Build proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to support improvement tracking and reporting.

What You Will Work On

  • Sustain and enhance the Singapore CORE Operating System Maturity Framework.
  • Assist in identifying and analyzing opportunities for process improvement to help achieve the 2026 improvement targets.
  • Support CORE certification tracking (Apprentice, Champion, Professional) and engagement tracking, ensuring timely registration and closure.
  • Conduct monthly cell heatmap analysis to identify performance trends and improvement areas.
  • Provide weekly site-level macro plan follow-up with stakeholders to ensure alignment across focus areas.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support CORE-driven improvement initiatives and council activities.
  • Assist in data consolidation and reporting, providing key insights to the leadership team for decision-making.
